# Terms and Conditions

> Terms of service for using FortisArena platform

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and FortisArena FZ-LLC ("FortisArena," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the FortisArena platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

## 2. Eligibility

### 2.1 Age Requirement

You must be **at least 18 years old** (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to use FortisArena.

### 2.2 Prohibited Jurisdictions

Users from the following countries/regions cannot use the Platform:

* United States (certain features restricted)
* North Korea
* Iran
* Syria
* Other OFAC-sanctioned countries

### 2.3 Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. FortisArena reserves the right to suspend accounts with false information.

## 3. FortisArena Services

### 3.1 Platform Components

FortisArena provides:

* **Social Platform**: Gamified social network with rank system
* **Tournament Hub**: Competitive gaming ecosystem
* **Wallet Services**: Internal wallet with UID system

### 3.2 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances may cause temporary disruptions.

## 4. Wallet and Asset Terms

### 4.1 Internal Wallet System

FortisArena provides an **internal wallet** using Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology:

| **UID System**        | Users receive `FORTIS-UID-XXXX` for internal transfers |
| **No Seed Phrases**   | Account recovery via email/phone, not seed phrases     |
| **Platform Security** | We secure the private keys; users don't manage them    |
| **Recovery**          | Standard email/SMS verification for account recovery   |

### 4.2 User Responsibilities

**You are responsible for:**

* Maintaining account password security
* Enabling 2FA for additional protection
* Reporting unauthorized access immediately
* Verifying transaction details before confirming

**You are NOT responsible for:**

* Private key management (platform handles this)
* Seed phrase backup (not applicable to our system)
* Wallet software updates (platform-managed)

### 4.3 Asset Ownership

* **FRT/FPT Tokens**: Ownership recorded on BNB Smart Chain
* **Social Points**: Platform-managed, non-transferable
* **Fiat Balances**: Held in segregated accounts

### 4.4 Withdrawals

You may withdraw assets subject to:

* KYC verification completion
* Daily/weekly limits based on verification tier
* Processing times (crypto: minutes; fiat: up to 24 hours)
* Compliance checks for large withdrawals

## 5. Token Economics Disclaimer

### 5.1 Not Investment Advice

FRT and FPT tokens are **utility tokens**, not investments:

* ❌ They do not represent equity in FortisArena
* ❌ They do not provide revenue share or dividends
* ❌ They do not confer company ownership rights
* ❌ No guaranteed returns or profit promises

### 5.2 Utility Purpose

| **FPT** | In-platform rewards, tips, cosmetics                    |

### 5.3 Risk Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that:

* Token values may fluctuate
* Cryptocurrency markets are volatile
* Regulatory changes may affect token utility
* Platform does not guarantee token value

## 6. Platform Rules

### 6.1 Social Platform Rules

**Prohibited Content:**

* Daily vlogs and personal drama
* Reaction-only content without added value
* Reposted content without transformation
* Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
* Spam or bot-generated content

**Rank System Manipulation:**

* Artificially inflating engagement is prohibited
* Using bots for likes/comments is prohibited
* Buying/selling accounts is prohibited

### 6.2 Tournament Rules

**Cheating Prohibitions:**

* Using hacks, cheats, or exploits
* Match-fixing or collusion
* Smurfing (using alternate accounts unfairly)
* Account sharing during competitions

**Verification Requirements:**

* KYC required for prize-eligible tournaments
* Accurate skill representation required
* Anti-cheat software must be accepted

### 6.3 Consequences

Violations may result in:

* Content removal
* Temporary suspension
* Permanent ban
* Forfeiture of prizes or staked tokens
* Legal action (for serious violations)

## 7. Intellectual Property

### 7.1 Platform IP

All FortisArena content, branding, code, and designs are our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission.

### 7.2 User Content

By posting content on FortisArena:

* You retain ownership of your original content
* You grant us a license to display and distribute it on the platform
* You confirm you have rights to share the content

### 7.3 Tournament Content

Tournament broadcasts, replays, and statistics may be used by FortisArena for promotional purposes.

## 8. Fees and Payments

### 8.1 Platform Fees

| Fiat withdrawal                 | 1-2% processing fee   |

### 8.2 Changes to Fees

We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days notice. Changes will not affect pending transactions.

## 9. Disclaimers

### 9.1 No Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

### 9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORTISARENA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

* INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
* LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL
* DAMAGES ARISING FROM PLATFORM USE OR INABILITY TO USE

### 9.3 Risk Acceptance

You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with:

* Cryptocurrency volatility
* Smart contract technology
* Platform downtime
* Regulatory changes

## 10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FortisArena from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

* Your use of the Platform
* Your violation of these Terms
* Your violation of any third-party rights
* Your conduct on the Platform

## 11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

### 11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of **England and Wales**.

### 11.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation
2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
3. Binding arbitration in London (if mediation fails)

### 11.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only. Class actions, collective proceedings, and representative actions are waived.

## 12. Modifications

### 12.1 Terms Updates

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be:

* Posted on this page
* Notified via email
* Effective 30 days after posting

### 12.2 Continued Use

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

## 13. Termination

### 13.1 By User

You may terminate your account by:

1. Withdrawing all balances

3. Confirming deletion request

### 13.2 By FortisArena

We may terminate or suspend your account for:

* Violation of these Terms
* Fraudulent activity
* Legal requirements
* Extended inactivity (2+ years)

### 13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

* Access to Platform is revoked
* Unwithdrawn balances remain claimable for 90 days
* Blockchain transactions remain recorded
* Certain data retained per legal requirements
